I love you every day

My mom stopped buying ham 4 years ago. There was conflict. Obviously. 4 years ago, there was so much change going on for me: Fresh out of primary school, I began my first year in secondary school. Not only did I have to start wearing a bra, but I also had to learn how to take public transport all by myself. And then my mom was going to stop buying ham? Whaaaaat?

All the non- health freaks in the household- namely my dad and brothers- are ham people. (This implies that I was not affected by the absence of ham in my life, after all. Aha! I, now HATE ham. Justine Ham- hater Ong!) My dad gets the groceries like what, biannually? Ergo every 6 months or so, we find ham and SPAM in the kitchen. (Check out SPAM's web page. It speaks to you! I love web pages that speak to me.) Anyway, I found ham in the kitchen today. In a kitchen cabinet. Where we keep our plates. Also where ham should not be stored. August is just..... Not 6 months or so after May- Which was the last time we had ham.

Besides today being the day where my mother wouldn't let my dad keep his ham refrigerated, today, also marks 33 years of their blissful marriage to each other. They are forever and ever. They are so amazing.

Much love, take care!
