Hi everyone! I'm just like "Hell! What was I thinking applying to do Science in college?" right now. I mean, was I even? I vaguely remember that while getting my college applications done online at the very last minute, I was also concentrating hard on eating only the vowels of my Alpha- Bits, and watching Lorelai have a heated argument with her mother. (Gilmore Girls, Season 3) I can't recall a time when doing 2 or more things at once was ever easy for me.
All right, maybe there was that one time a few weeks ago: I was tying the laces to my shoe, humming the tune of Mrs. Robinson, and watching my neighbour's SUV reverse out of their driveway- All at the same time. Which after doing, I thought was pretty easy to do.
Ooh! And at dance trainings last year, I'd be required to raise an arm, stomp my left leg to a beat, and jiggle my bottom- All at the same time. Wasn't easy at first, but I eventually got the hang of things. (Feel free to check out our arm raising, left leg stomping, bottom jiggling videos on YouTube.) Surprise, surprise. I don't know why I never mentioned before this, that I used to raise my arm, stomp my left leg, and jiggle my bottom, every day after school- At least on the days that I wasn't out dating Andrew.
So......... Going back to "Hell! What was I thinking applying to do Science in college?". What's the difference between an AC motor and a DC motor? (Besides the A and D.) And, what? Weight's a force? What gives? And, uhhh.... Who cares?
Anyway, here is a list of things that I've been mentally preparing myself for, since 3 hours ago:
1) Removing my nail polish.
In my opinion, Art students should be allowed to wear nail polish to school. And since Art students are allowed to wear nail polish to school, Science students should also be allowed to wear nail polish to school. Therefore, everyone should be allowed to wear nail polish to school. This is only about fairness and equality.
2) Shaving/epilating/waxing my legs more regularly again.
I'll be around boys more often. Boys(creeps) tend to look at girls' legs. What gives, boys? What gives?
3) I guess my underarms too.
Aha, I hope Mariah reads this!
4) Physical education.
Sarah just reminded me that I kind of know someone who is a doctor. If I play my cards right, I might be able to get my hands on a letter of excuse from any form of physical activity for.... Forever. Be wise- Make use of your resources, guys.
5) School hours, which are both early and long.
My day usually begins 20 minutes before my lunch. After which, I return to bed for a 3 hour nap. I basically need about 15 hours of sleep to function as a normal human being- Chew on food, walk up steps, work the TV controls, etc. And a couple of extra hours on top of that, if I'm planning on cracking a few jokes that day. Are college kids superhuman kids, or what? (I say superhuman kids!)
I sound 5. Can't believe I'm actually going to go to college. To get an education. To use a graphing calculator. And..... A few other things.
I've to get up in a couple of hours to say "Hi" to God. Goodnight! Good morning. (Whatever.)
