We aren't big on Thanksgiving here in Singapore, but this one is for a friend who has been far away for way too long.

Come back, Steve! (Don't make me go Avada Kedavra on your ass.) Life hasn't been the same. I think I'm begging......... I tried sending you an e- surprise the other day, but couldn't. Technology fails. Often. Anyway, I haven't learnt to control my hopes yet. I'm starting to wonder if I should stop expecting altogether.

I finally realised today, what you'd done months ago- You ran away from your pain. We are so flawed, and so far from perfection. Sometimes, I wish you hadn't just uprooted yourself like how you did.

Just so you know, nobody bothered with cranberry chutney this year.
