I got oats in my pony tail at breakfast. What a mess at half past 6 in the morning. It was a blessing in disguise, though. It really woke me up for my early paper. Anyway, Nut and I had a few hours to kill before our next paper in the afternoon, so we went to the entertainment centre near the interchange to watch High School Musical 3. (Not recommended) We wanted to watch House Bunny, but that movie is so last month, that it isn't still showing.

My mom picked me up from school today. I figured while she was trying not to crash our car, would be the best time to ask her for some money to get my hair done. (Been thinking about when to pop the question all week.) We were tuned in to BBC, and they just wouldn't stop talking about the credit crunch. It's all the rave, right now. I don't think anybody really cares that Richard Garriott is back from outer space. (Space tourist returns from 10 day $30M orbital trip.) And, I don't think anyone really cares that a toddler got shot at by an 18 year old boy on a dare, either. Boys are so ridiculous. (Yes offence, boys.)

So anyway, back to the world in Crisis. BBC reported (thus ruining my moment to pop the question) that people in Germany have stopped going to salons to get their hair cut, because they just can't afford it anymore. It's sad. And if you really think about it, haven't we been so impractical all this while? Paying to get our hair cut, when it always grows back? I mean- ignoring all the people in the world with hair issues for just a bit- maybe we should cut our own hair, because it doesn't cost any money and it always grows back.

Anyway, look. Right there in our fridge, in between the cereal and bottle of olives..... Credit crunch. It's EVERYWHERE. Ahaha............. At school, we would call this "Finding Humour". (I am on a Habits of Mind roll.)

Goodnight, everyone! Have a jolly good weekend
